Patterson Brothers Funerals is a family owned and operated business, spanning five generations of the Patterson family. Beginning in Boorowa (Burrowa) in 1882, the Patterson family began a business as Carpenters and Undertakers, a Horse Drawn Hearse was the mode of transport back then with many a funeral taking all day to complete, when the burials were in one of the small villages surrounding Burrowa The family moved to Young and established their new Funeral Business, Patterson Bros. at 95-97 Main Street Young in January 1906. Daniel Patterson is the fifth generation of the Patterson family who, along with his wife Stacey, takes pride in carrying on the tradition of this renowned and respected family business. They continue to offer the communities of Young, Harden, Boorowa and surrounding areas peace of mind in caring for their loved ones entrusted to their care and to arrange and conduct their funerals in a respectful and professional manner. Growing up in the funeral industry, Daniel learnt at an early age the meaning of respect & professionalism. He worked in this industry for the past 10 years with his parents David & Val whilst completing the training necessary to enter the funeral industry.
